Every penny of every donation goes directly to helping vulnerable local people and even a modest amount can keep our facility going and make a real difference to lives.
Your donations are vital to help our guests through the winter months. We also need to raise funds to support our latest project, which is to offer much needed shower facilities to our homeless guests. We need to pay for electrical installation costs and regular maintenance, as well as supplies of towels, clean underwear and toiletries.

Many of you have taken this recent time at home to de-clutter and we welcome donations, especially the ones listed below. However please contact us at Lewes Open Door to check whether we can accept them, since we have limited storage space:
Clean sleeping bags and single duvets
Seasonally appropriate, practical men’s clothes (30/32” waist jeans, t shirts, sweatshirts, jumpers and waterproof warm jackets most useful)
Men’s trainers / work boots (size 8-12 most needed)
Men’s underwear & socks (new / unworn)
